Maybe the Hegelians are insane, ...but they have a point. The search for synthesis- (truth?) -through meshing opposing polarities, opposing tendancies... I find appealing. Regardless of intellectual tail-chasing, I'm a fan of contrasts.
My friend, *wb-skinner chewed me out for entering this building. On one hand, he was qutie right to. It's tilting and teetering on its supports, with an eight foot drop which would flatten the whole place should it tumble just a little. ...But as a devout chicken-shit, I wouldn't have entered had I any strong misgivings...you judge these things at the moment, -it felt safe enough....and it was sooo irresistable. |

But more than that I am drawn to the paint. The paint on the far wall is so beautiful. The crackle, the tones and the light ! You have captured the desertion, the cold and decay and led our eye to the green and the sunlight outside.....this is a thinker. I like it.
